Construction update Recreation Park Oysterduinen

Construction is progressing rapidly and the park is taking shape. From October onwards, most of phase 2 will officially be available for rent, a milestone that is underlined by the fact that the homes completed to date are already fully booked during the Oyster Festival from 18 to 20 October.

Work is also progressing rapidly in phase 3: most of the homes have been built and installed. Preparations for the remaining part will start on 1st October, and the last homes will be put in place in November.

With this progress, we expect to have 75% of the park available for rental during the Christmas holidays. This brings Oysterduinen another step closer to its vision of a vibrant resort where more and more guests can enjoy their stay.

Construction update Fryske Mar

There is a strong focus on nature in and around the park, and we are carefully preparing the next steps in its development. A weasel was recently spotted, and the area appears to be home to a wide variety of birds. Together with local residents and a local bird association, we are taking measures to create a suitable habitat. It is challenging, but we are confident that we will find a solution that does justice to both nature and further development.

In the meantime, we are preparing the construction of the infrastructure. Pressure tests have been carried out to measure the bearing capacity of the soil, so that the subsoil is suitable for roads and facilities.

We are seeing that many buyers are choosing additional options, such as a hot tub or air conditioning. This increases living comfort, contributes to an attractive return on investment and gives the park a more luxurious look and feel.

Construction update Huis ter Heide

We are delighted to announce that our park will now be called Huis ter Heide. This name better reflects the green, peaceful surroundings and the atmosphere we want to create together. It is a wonderful next step in the development of the park.

In recent weeks, the focus has been on caring for flora and fauna. An ecologist conducted research on the site at night and spotted various animals, which is a sign of a vibrant nature reserve. Before we start constructing the infrastructure, we will carry out a quick scan to map out the wildlife and take compensatory measures where necessary. This will ensure that the development remains in balance with nature.
