Construction Update Lake Retreats

At Lake Retreats, preparations for the transport and installation of the holiday homes are in full swing. In the factory, final touches are currently being applied to the nine homes, including the installation of air conditioning units and solar panels.

  • In approximately 2.5 weeks, a unique logistical process will commence: the homes will be transported by boat across the Vinkeveense Plassen to the resort.
     
  • To ensure a controlled process, one home will be placed per day. We will start near the bridge and work our way across the site step-by-step. Immediately after placement, the shoring, walkways, and terraces will be constructed.
     
  • The foundations are ready and the utilities are nearly completed. Water meters will be installed next week, allowing the homes to be connected almost immediately upon arrival.

Construction Update Resort Oysterduinen

In recent weeks, significant work has been carried out at Oysterduinen regarding the park grounds, facilities, and the further completion of Phase 3.

  • At the beginning of March, the new barrier system based on license plate recognition will be put into operation. Additionally, a fence is being installed along the side of the business park to enhance the privacy of homes 41 through 52.
     
  • New trees have been planted throughout the entire resort. Weather permitting, we will start laying the lawns in half of Phase 3 (homes 41 to 53) in late February.
     
  • The finishing of the reception building has begun, with the opening scheduled for before Easter. Furthermore, the permit for the hotel studios has been officially received, meaning the final interior work can now commence.
     
  • Guests will now be welcomed with a new trilingual park magazine and an expanded breakfast service. Moreover, we are enhancing the local experience through a partnership with the Oesterij, including the sale of special Oysterduinen oyster baskets.
