August 2026 – Discover the latest developments at our resorts

Construction Update Huis ter Heide

At Huis ter Heide, following the completion of the permit process, focus is visibly shifting toward execution. Realization of the park is now concrete and underway:

  • Start of infrastructure works: All contractors for construction and finishing have been selected, and the required ecological measures have been successfully completed. Starting in week 37, we will begin laying the underground infrastructure on site, after which the road network will be constructed.
     
  • Phased home construction: As soon as the underground utilities and roads are ready, the placement of the homes will start in week 46. This will take place in phases across seven batches, with a new batch starting every four weeks. The total construction period is expected to be approximately thirty weeks.
     
  • TV and internet upon handover: At handover, everything will be taken care of down to the last detail, including a fiber-optic connection, modem, and an interactive TV subscription. By default, we supply the comprehensive Basic subscription; owners who prefer the more compact Lite subscription can communicate this by September 3 at the latest.
     
  • Rental outlook: Works are progressing according to a strict schedule. If everything continues to run smoothly, the current forecast is that the park will be fully ready for rental in week 26 of 2027.

Construction Update Resort Fryske Mar

At Resort Fryske Mar, the transformation is in full swing with work underway on multiple fronts simultaneously. The layout of the park is rapidly taking shape:

  • Placement & handover: There are now 34 homes on the park, meaning the first four construction batches have been successfully placed. Behind the scenes, handovers for the second and third batches are being prepared and will soon be scheduled with the owners.
     
  • Start of first rentals: A wonderful milestone: in mid-July, the very first homes officially entered the rental program! We are using this launch phase to fine-tune our practical processes and services, ensuring the park is fully prepared for larger visitor flows.
     
  • Infrastructure & landscaping: Following the construction holiday, infrastructure work will resume in week 37. This runs parallel to preparing the plots for construction and laying the foundations for the upcoming building phases.
     
  • Tight placement schedule: The next batches will follow in quick succession. Placement of batch 5 begins in week 42, followed by batch 6 (including the reception building) in week 47. The goal is to have all homes (up to and including batch 8) on the resort by the end of the first quarter of 2027.
